I am having breakfast in Capri of Italy now. It usually takes you 40mins by ferry from Naples; which is what I did yesterday. For sure, I reserved the tickets in the Internet and got them via email beforehand. Things were well prepared and I was so ready to board the ship with the eticket. But then, I was stopped at the gate and told that I need to print it out on paper.
How’s the technology doing here, especially Fintech?
Two Fintech startups that are worth watching.
Satispay enables us to transfer money and payment via whatapps. It does not require debt or credit card registration. All we need to do is to select a contact from the list, say how much we want to pay, and send. It is fast and transaction cost is low.
Moneyfarm is a platform offering individual financial investment advice by experts. Their service is unbiased, low-cost, expertly managed. You can also manage the investment with your smartphone.
I thought Italy is relatively analog and behind in the area of technology comparing to advanced Asian countries like Singapore and Hong Kong, but I was wrong. Creativity is everywhere and boundary-less. Wherever there is problem, there is solution. Really glad to see the ecosystem growing in a speed like that.

もちろんですが、事前に船のチケットを予約しました。メールでEチケットが来ましたので、万全でした。当日になって、船の乗り場のゲートまで行ったら、紙のチケットじゃないと乗れないと言われました。「ん？もうデジタル世代だぞ」だと心の中の声でした。
イタリアのテクノロジーは一体どうなっているんだろ？特にフィンテックは？
２つのスタートアップを注目されています：
Satispayはwhatapps（LINEのようなアプリ、海外では流行っています）でお金をトランスファーすることができます。クレジットカードやデビットカードは不要です。自分のコンタクトリストから振込先を選択して、金額を入力すればおしまいです。スピードが速く、トランザクション費用も低いです。
Moneyfarmは個人の投資専門家より投資のアドバイスをもらえるプラットフォームです。偏見がなく、サービス料が低く、専門家より投資の管理をもらえます。かつ、スマホで投資の管理ができます。
イタリアはアナログの国で、アジアの先進国（シンガポール、香港など）と比べたら、テクノロジーの部分は時代遅れになっていると、私が思いました。でも間違えました。実はクリエティヴィティはどこでもあり、境界線が存在しません。課題があれば必ず解決案があります。色んな国で色んな形のFintechイノベーションを見えて素晴らしく思います。
